Fontenelle Forest Photo Club Meeting Minutes

- Welcome by: Donna Gray
- Old Business:
- We are rotating meeting duties with our board members.
- Open Positions: We need volunteers for the Photo Club -President, Vice President. Please consider volunteering for one of these positions.
- A couple of Reminders: Annual dues are $20.00 for single and $30.00 for family. Please see Kathleen if you haven’t paid. We’ve also been verifying your contact information for the photo club roster when paying dues.
- Members of the Fontenelle Forest Photography Club, you must also be a member of the Fontenelle Forest. The admin staff at FF will audit our member’s list to make sure our members are also members of the forest. Please check that your Fontenelle Forest membership is current.
- Kathleen mentioned the club is planning to have the Holiday Potluck December 19th. The Photo Club provides fried and baked chicken entrée and drinks. She reminded members they are welcome to bring a guest.
- Mary Headley passed a sign-up sheet around for side dishes or dessert for those members attending the December Potluck. Please RSVP by December 13th to Mary Headley if did NOT attend the November meeting and plan to attend the December Holiday Potluck. mheadley5559@gmail.com. We want to get an accurate count of members and guest to order the chicken.
- Mary let the members know we have openings available for the months March and April of 2025 for treats at the club meetings.
- IMPORTANT: Members will share 3-5 photos of their choice at the Holiday Potluck. Please email to Phil by Monday December 16th. Please find the email link to send photos to webmaster on the photo club website.
- II. New Business:
- We have two people interested in joining our photo club tonight.
- Vivian Molck-She has a Canon Rebel T2i and enjoys taking family photos
- Eric Patdu and his wife Bing- Eric uses Canon equipment and enjoys capturing nature and bird photography.
- Kathleen provided the Club Treasurer’s Report: current balance $752.77. Income from dues $130.00. No expenses.
- Donna Gray: Photo Display- Bellevue Library and Fontenelle Forest. The new photo displays are hanging at both locations.
- Please bring your display photos to December Meeting for the topics below: Fontenelle Forest: Birds of Fontenelle Forest Bellevue Library: Bridges pictures may be taken anywhere
- Donna handed out topics for future displays at both locations.
- Aaron Frey from Rockbrook Camera shared new photography equipment and gadgets with the club at tonight meeting.
